Pink Floyd’s eleventh studio album, The Wall, released on November 30, 1979, by Harvest and Columbia Records. It is the band’s eleventh studio album. It’s a rock opera about Pink, a cynical rock artist whose self-imposed isolation from society becomes a metaphorical wall. Also, The album was a commercial success, charting at number one in the United States for 15 weeks and number three in the United Kingdom. It garnered negative reviews at first, with many critics dismissing it as overdone and pretentious. But it went on to be hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time and one of the band’s finest works.

Besides, Pink Floyd autographs performed the entire album on a tour that incorporated elaborate theatrical elements from 1980 to 1981. The Wall turned into a feature picture in 1982, with Waters writing the screenplay.
