“Are You Ready for Love?” is a song recorded by English artist Elton John in 1977. Released as the first single from the EP The Thom Bell Sessions in the United Kingdom in 1979. It was composed by Leroy Bell, Thom Bell, and Casey James and was first presented by Thom Bell in Philadelphia. (Who had already produced a series of hits for the Spinners, the Delfonics and the Stylistics). While the EP’s song “Mama Can’t Buy You Love” charted in 1979, it and the other track on the three-track 12-inch vinyl disc, “Three Way Love Affair,” were minor footnotes at the time.

As well as the full-length 1979 version of “Are You Ready for Love?” Some CD editions include a QuickTime version of a video for the song.
